From hand-picking the olives to pressing them into the finest extra virgin olive oil, this tradition is woven into our cultural fabric, passed down through generations.

Serves: 1
Prep Time: 2 minutes
Cook time: 3-4 minutes
Ingredients:
– 2 large eggs
– 1 tablespoon Ziyad Brand Za’atar
– 2 tablespoons Sultan Olive olive oil (extra virgin for more flavor)
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– Fresh mint, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, Ziyad Brand Baladi olives (optional, for serving)
– Toasted bread, pita, or flatbread (for serving)
Instructions:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the za’atar and olive oil until well combined.
Crack the eggs into the za’atar and olive oil mixture, and whisk again until smooth and well combined, Place a dry skillet over medium-high heat.
Pour the egg mixture into the heated skillet, spreading it around to evenly distribute. Cover the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the eggs are fully set and cooked through.
Transfer the cooked za’atar eggs to a plate. Garnish with fresh mint, Tomatoe and cucumber slices and olives if desired. Enjoy warm.
